| For over a decade Frank Seckler has been creating unique metal art. He has concentrated on developing patinas that bring warmth and texture to his steel pieces. Frank has successfully married his love of color and the design process to bring you art that is not only beautiful but functional as well.
Frank initially attended the Rhode Island School of Design before finishing his degree in fine art at Lewis and Clark College. His schooling provided a solid foundation in printmaking and painting which has been a major influence in his patina development. After apprenticing with several well-known artists and sculptors during his summers, he opened Seckler Studio in 1989.
Frank's work is well noted for its craftsmanship, metal finishes, and distinctive symbols based on Southwest petroglyph and South American primitive figures along with other designs. Frank's art has been collected extensively throughout the United States and the rest of the world.
