Later in life, Burt became a clothes designer and furniture decorator and continued pursuing his love of the arts. He has appeared on the television series Lawbreakers with Lee Marvin and has been active in musical groups as a drummer and singer. Bain has apprenticed with several well known artists in Phoenix, California, and Boston.
