A self taught artist, Bob uses his Eastern Sierras background as a resource for many of his subjects. Possessing an extreme fondness for wildlife,Western lifestyles and Native Americans, Bob Piercey exclusively focuses his talents in these areas.

Working on farms and ranches as a packer and farrier provided Bob with the knowledge and empathy that is remarkably obvious in his work.  Bob loves to research his subjects and it is this process that gives him great confidence.  Indeed, his research allows him to know that each piece is completely authentic.

Bob finds relaxation relief from the stresses of everyday life while sculpting in his studio.  His studio is a quiet retreat that ignites creativity. Bob does all of the work associated with producing his pieces.  Everything from the sculpting of the clay to applying the colorful patina.
