The Artists include well know California artists Maurice Braun and Guy Rose as well as other artists working in the region such as Childe Hassam and William Merritt Chase. This full colored book includes essays by Susan Landauer, and independent scholar specializing in the art of California; Donald D. Keyes, curator of paintings at the Georgia Museum of Art; and Jean Stern, executive director of The Irvine Museum. Both the book and exhibit were presented as part of the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games Cultural Olympiad. |
